Social media & Content Manager (Part-Time)
SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 pro rata
Location: Brixton, London (3 days a week)

The Manual is looking for a highly creative, proactive Social Media & Content Manager who can own our content end-to-end, from shooting and editing, to copywriting, scheduling, and strategy. This role is perfect for someone who loves being behind the camera, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to help shape the social voice of an agency that’s scaling quickly.
This a part time position (2/3 days a week) based in their studio in Brixton, South London.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
Develop an authentic, long-term content strategy that reflects The Manual’s work, people and vision.
Proactively identify content opportunities across the business, from internal brainstorms to large-scale builds going live.
Keep our channels on the front foot by tracking industry trends, competitor activity, and platform behaviours.
Plan monthly content calendars, reporting, and performance insights.
Report on monthly posts, metrics, effectiveness with plans on how to improve.
Content Creation & Editing;
Shoot and edit day-to-day content from the office, including team interviews, culture moments, thought leadership clips, and behind-the-scenes processes.
Capture BTS and LIVE content onsite at events (sometimes internationally) and turn it into compelling, story-driven content for Instagram and LinkedIn and other channels.
Produce polished short-form videos, reels, lo-fi BTS moments and photography that feels natural, human and high-quality.
Edit quickly and creatively, optimising each piece of content for the right platform.
Keep up to date on new trends, platforms, tools to include in your execution.
Publishing, Copywriting & Community:
Write engaging, on-brand captions that reflect our personality and values.
Manage our posting schedule and keep our channels active, especially around major builds, launches, pitches and wins etc.
Post in real time from event sites where relevant.
Engage with our community, clients, partners and talent by responding to comments to build reach and positive connections.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with project leads to obtain sign-off before posting event-related content.
Collaborate with creative, new business and leadership teams to ensure content supports bigger commercial and brand objectives.
Coordinate with the wider team for interviews, talking heads, and key cultural moments.
Requirements:
Strong shooting and editing skills - confident with both video and photography.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar editing tools.
Experience creating content for Instagram and LinkedIn (not limited to)
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write in a warm, intelligent, conversational tone that matches The Manual’s personality.
Able to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver quick turnarounds.
Comfortable being onsite at events, often in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
A natural storyteller who can spot and capture the magic in everyday moments.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience within an agency, events, live production, or brand environment.
Motion design or basic animation skills.
Experience with scheduling tools.
Understanding of B2B content and LinkedIn strategy.
A genuine interest in creativity, culture, and brand experiences.

Advertising Agency Intern
SALARY: £27,007.50 (plus Travel Cards)
Location: London/Hybrid
APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNday 1ST FEBRUARY
The Lucky Way is a 4 month paid internship scheme at award-winning advertising agency Lucky Generals, based in London. Successful applicants will rotate across the 4 core departments within the agency: Account Management (client relationships), Creative, Production and Strategy.

Successful candidates will gain a breath of experience of the whole agency process learning how we transform brilliant ideas into adverts for brands such as TikTok, Asda, Yorkshire Tea, Holland and Barrett, Irn Bru… the list goes on! After experiencing a few weeks in each department and learning that discipline, each intern will have the opportunity to spend their final few weeks in a department of their choice.

Our work experience scheme has been in place since our agency began, over 10 years ago, helping talent get a taste of what it is like to work in a consumer PR agency and see if it is for them. During your work experience at Aduro, you will have the opportunity to support the work which goes into active campaigns across PR, Influencer and social, delving into the brilliant and reliable work we do and gain hands-on experience within our broad client portfolio. This might be through sitting in on planning meetings, engaging in the behind the scenes of securing stellar coverage, working on elements which build a successful influencer campaign, and learning what makes our social team’s work scroll stopping.
In comparison to our two-month internship scheme, this is a one or two week placement (you choose) and whilst unpaid we can cover the cost of your travel and daily lunch. This is your opportunity to get a better understanding of the industry and add more layers to your CV to help with future job roles.
