Students from Eltham Hill School, recently started our 16-week programme across the Havas Group - one of the world’s largest global communications groups.

Eltham Hill School is an all girls school based in South East London. Students have this current cohort have left some amazing feedback about their mentors. You can read more below:

Binita Galani 13A is being mentored by Chrissi who works at Cake as Operations Manager. Binita tells us: “this is an amazing experience and Chrissi is teaching me the different jobs that can be done in Marketing. I have so far met different managers in different industries including the team involved in the design the Bafta awards ceremony”.

Fardous Haibe 13H is mentored by Kate, a Creative at Havas and Fardous is having some thrilling experiences, “I have been Holborn where they are filming a rooftop scene for Stan Lee’s ‘Lucky Man’. It was great to see what a real film set it like. I was introduced to the Production Coordinator for the show and I have learnt all about the different camera angles and techniques involved in a film set and the different roles everyone plays.”

Beatrice Demetriou 13A is meeting with Sarah, a Senior Designer at Conran Design Group, who works mainly on branding and campaign work, recent clients including Burberry, Cancer Research UK, Danone, Royal National Orthopedic Hospital. As an ideas led, integrated designer working across predominantly print, but also web, digital and moving image she is able to offer much useful support and guidance. Beatrice’s mentor has commented feedback that Beatrice is passionate, confident, hard-working, pro-active, resourceful and clearly has such an enthusiasm for the work she is doing, immersing herself in all aspects of learning, which in my eyes will make her invaluable as a designer.”

Sheliza Nanji 13H is mentored by Natalie, Head of Copy. Sheliza has commented already, “it was really great seeing the Havas building and learning more about what they do. The process was really interesting to hear about. I am learning about advertising in different countries for food drinks, charities etc. This is so much more than I was expecting and I so look forward to our meetings”.
